I didn't like Facebook at all to begin with, but have learned to like it.  I think it's mostly a huge machine to gather as much data as possible about everyone who will join all the silly stuff on there.  I'm very careful about giving too much personal info.  It's pretty nice to be able to keep up with old friends.  I like to look at pictures of hot women from high school, and see how they've turned in to NASCAR tee shirt wearing skanks with ankles larger than my waist. I look at them and think- am I that old and pitiful?  Probablly.

You could try "Flicker" or "Photobucket"...both free sites that you can post happy photos and then leave an easy 'link'. Both are secure and you can just show what pix you want---to who you want them to see.

Because it is an 'out-side' source...no-one can ever see anything that You don't approve of. I don't know if you are familiar with them, but they are both cool for the apps you might like.

'Google' either one of those and don't be shy.
